Neuromancer
I was commissioned by the British publishing house Gollancz / Orion Publishing to create a set of illustrations for their new Neuromancer's special edition.
Neuromancer, written by William Gibson, considered the archetypal cyberpunk work, is a staple in the genre that inspired iconic movies such as The Matrix, so for me was an honor to be considered for this task.
For this commission, I decided to only use one brush, black as main color and blue as highlight. Having these self-imposed limits, I tried to play with contrast and texture by only relying on shape and line direction (unlike other works of mine in which I use different brushes and gray tones).
My work being approved by Gibson and Orion Publishing themselves was a great experience.
Looking forward for Count Zero and Mona Lisa Overdrive.

ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE FREE
All my illustration and writing work is free of AI. I'm a firm believer that using AI platforms, datasets and neuronal networks to reduce, replace or assist human creativity in a creativity-based work is lazy and unethical. Support the genuine human thought.
