Anvil Glow
(Character design)
In 2018, I was commissioned to design a set of 3 characters (and an unfinished fourth) for a standalone shooter video game from Oregon-based company Anvil Glow that was sadly canceled. Still, these are some of the pieces I worked on with the team.
Ronin.
A young tomboy swords-woman who wants to do right, but has a natural aptitude to criminal enforcement. She struggles with good-intentions, and below her sharp shell is a kind and caring girl - conditioned to be a soldier, and trained as an assassin. Young, brash, and quick to temper. She often wanders the marketplaces incognito, picking up trinkets and watching the children play.
The Scavenger.
The Master.
The Sniper
(unfinished sketches)
The Sniper was the second female character that unfortunately I couldn't finish due cancellation of the project by Anvil Glow. I was really keen to see how this girl turned out but these rough sketches are her only remanants.
It was fun while it lasted.
ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE FREE
All my illustration and writing work is free of AI. I'm a firm believer that using AI platforms, datasets and neuronal networks to reduce, replace or assist human creativity in a creativity-based work is lazy and unethical. Support the genuine human thought.
