Leep
01 : INFO
Bridgefy is originally an offline messaging app that can send messages even without the Internet, using bluetooth and creating a mesh-network. This is a great idea that is actually helping many people around the world to stay connected even in difficult times like wars, natural disasters and other rough situations.
Bridgefy also made a complete SDK so anyone can use the same mesh-network technology in their own apps, so I've been working redesigning the app and designing a completely new Dashboard from scracth. This has been more of an UI/UX design project, but I wanted to share the small illustration part that I hope I can expand in the future, making the new Bridgefy mascot, Leep, a more recognizable character.
02 : BRIDGEFY MESSENGER APP
Just a small sneek peak of the new app redesign. At the moment the messenger app has more than 6 million users and is fully functional, but this redesign will be introduced very soon.
03 : DASHBOARD
The new Bridgefy Dashboard help both Bridgefy admins and users/companies to take control of license creation and stats of their own apps using the Bridgefy SDK. I designed the whole thing and incorporeted Leep here and there. This is mostly info-visualization design but she looks cute. You can create an SDK account here.
04 : CLEAN LINES
This was challenging to me since I'm not used to illustrate in a minimal and super clean way. I wanted to have at least a certain amount of detail, but also keeing it simple so I came up with this style, playing with modulated lines of variable thickness but trying to not make Leep look cluttered or unreadable.
05 : BASE SKETCHES
It's funny how, in order to get simple and clean lines, I had to first make Leep more detailed. This is shurely not the best way to do it, but it was the only way I had to wrap my head around this style. Also I like to have these sketches instead of only the resulting illustrations.
ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE FREE
All my illustration and writing work is free of AI. I'm a firm believer that using AI platforms, datasets and neuronal networks to reduce, replace or assist human creativity in a creativity-based work is lazy and unethical. Support the genuine human thought.
